I am so excited to put this up on the blog finally! I’ve always wanted to do a surprise proposal and when Zachary got into contact with me to set up the occasion for when he will propose to his love, I was beyond thrilled to help out!
He knew he wanted to pop the question at Sunset Cliffs, but other than that, hadn’t really made any plans. I suggested the spot that had a beautiful cave on the wall (pictured), and he and I both instantly loved that location.
When he and his girlfriend arrived, it was kind of wet and misty. I wasn’t sure how we would pull it off in the rain, but thank the Lord it stopped raining when they arrived. He had convinced her that he wanted some nice photos of them and wanted them to get dressed up. I knew that plan so I played it off like they were just a couple that I was photographing. As I walked over to my “spot” and was ready for him to bend the knee, I waved at them (I was quite a distance away), instructing them to change poses. Instead, Zach got down on one knee. It was an awesome site and I couldn’t help but get all giddy for them and their
moment together. She, of course, said yes!!! Well done Zach! Great job on your proposal and congrats to you both on your upcoming wedding!
