Kim + Chris | Wind Wolves Preserve Engagement

Chris and Kim were paired together when he was finishing up his Bachelors degree in the medical field and needed hours in the education side.  At the time Kim was the ICU educator where Chris eventually came for his hours.  They spent a lot of time together and thus a friendship blossomed.

For their first date, he took her wine tasting and then later to Cambria.  It was during this date that they realized they loved each other (and said it too!).  They had already spent so much time getting to know each other and talking every second of the day that by their first date everything just felt natural.  Such a special date for both Chris and Kim that they said they will always remember it.

So Chris took Kim wine tasting in Paso Robles.  Later in the day they decided to head to one of their favorite beaches, Cambria.  He suggested they walk along the beach, which it was raining at the time.  She was happy to do just that and cuddle up with him arm in arm underneath their umbrella.  It was then that he got down on his knee, and without saying anything, pulled out the ring. He then of course asked Kim to marry him.  She had no idea it was going to happen and was so surprised! She couldn’t wait to say yes and plan out the rest of their lives together!

These two picked Wind Wolves Preserve as their location for their engagement session, which was perfect timing. There weren’t any flowers, unfortunately, but there was plenty of green from all that AMAZING rain we’ve been getting this year. I absolutely love this couple and how their session turned out!

Congratulations Chris and Kim! These two were such a joy and pleasure to photograph! I can’t wait for their upcoming wedding in October!!!

If you love what you see and want to know more about what I offer, contact me, and I’d love to chat with you about your needs and wants!
