Krystal and Max- The Couple
They both met in Tennessee, but he’s from South Korea. They got engaged in Tennessee after they went to their favorite restaurant. I ended up meeting them after they reached out to me, and it was so sweet watching them interact with one another. They were just always kind and friendly, and you couldn’t help but want to be with them longer. My favorite part was Max trying to teach us his language (ya I failed miserably).
A few months later, we did their engagement session. They picked Montana De Oro and we had so much fun. Check out their engagement session
Seven Oaks Country Club – The Venue
This venue is located off Ming Ave in Bakersfield Ca. The clubhouse is the first thing when you pull into the parking lot, and directly behind the clubhouse is the 27 hole golf course. This wedding was in march, so everything was green and slowly getting ready to bloom, a perfect time to get married.
The Day
Getting Ready
Bride got ready and a family member’s house. Krystal was surrounded by her bridesmaids and her (second) mom, The morning was calm and relaxing and the bride seemed very chill (which is a good thing). Fairy Godmother, Collen, was there and was on top of everything to make sure we kept moving along on time. She even helped get a spot out of the bride’s dress (in case you didn’t know, colleen is amazing). Max later came to the house and they were able to have their First look out in the backyard while the rest of the wedding party looked on through the back windows. Max couldn’t believe how beautiful his bride looked. Then it was time to head to the venue!
Ceremony
Sunny warm spring weather. There was a string quartet playing while the guests arrived and seated for the wedding. Max’s family came all the way from South Korea, and the groom didn’t think his dad was going to make it, but his dad surprised him. Krystal’s family friend (her second dad) was the officiant, while her dad gave her away. The ceremony went perfectly.
Reception
Instead of a cocktail hour, they had a mocktail hour! The drinks were so fun, I even got to enjoy one (I don’t drink alcohol while working but these all were alcohol free!) Once dinner came and went, the toasts were done by the bride’s sister, and grooms best mad, and even the parents. After the cake cutting, the groom’s sisters sang to the happy couple (there are professional singers). The whole wedding day ended with the sunset shots of Krystal and Max.
