Lots of laughs, snow, and great moments, Gillian and Jason rocked their engagement session at Mt. Pinos in Frazier Park CA
Gillian and Jason are just about the sweetest couple. We met for the first time at their engagement session, but it wasn’t awkward at all. We instantly clicked, and once I started getting them engaged during the session, I mostly just had to keep my finger on the button of my camera and just these two be who they are. It was fun, with lots of laughter (as you will tell with the images), and overall a great session. Congrats Gillian and Jason on their upcoming wedding!!!
{About a week after this shoot, a big snow storm came through. So glad we did the session when we did. The little bit of snow on the ground was perfect.}

The two of us met at Hume Lake Christian camps! We actually went to the same church, but had no idea until we met up at camp- we drove on the same bus and everything but still didn’t know each other! We started dating a couple months after that!

Jason and I were on a cruise to Mexico, and on the second night of the cruise, it was formal night. This meant there would be a bunch of photographers around the ship taking portraits of people. Little did I know, Jason arranged for a photographer to be at the grand staircase in the lobby, where he took me to take photos before dinner. During the photo session, he proposed to me and we got it all on camera! It was so magical!

My favorite thing about being engaged is feeling closer to Jason! As soon as we got engaged, I just felt a completely different connection to him- almost like I knew him so much better than before. I feel like we are just so much closer now and it is such an amazing feeling!
