Brianna + Chris | Mount Pinos Engagement

Apr 11, 2018 | Engagement, Wedding

I got to take these two out to Tahoe Joe’s to get to know them a little better before they decided to have me capture their wedding day. The place was picked by me, but apparently it was where they had their first date too (BONUS POINTS!!). They shared how they have known each other since high school and have been together for a long time and decided it was time to make it official. Let me tell you, these two are so sweet together. He loves video games (I was amazed at some of the games he plays as he described them to me, glad I don’t play them haha) and she loves to “try” to play them. Being drawn to them, I watched them interact and enjoy each other while we had dinner together.

Bakersfield Engagement Session

Fast forward to their Bakersfield Engagement session, Brianna and Chris really wanted something NOT Bakersfield-like, so up we went to the near by mountains. Oh my goodness, none of us anticipated how chilly it was up there. And poor Brianna wore a sleeveless top and later a summer tea dress! We kept having to stand in the sunlight as that was the only thing that took the edge off and gave us a little bit of warmth. Surprisingly though, despite the cold, these two were troopers and had a lot of fun following my queues and making the session their own as I moved around them and clicked away.

I’m so excited for October for these two! If their Bakersfield engagement session was this fun and turned out this awesome, their wedding day is going to be AMAZING! Congratulations Brianna and Chris on your engagement!
